The Canmore Hotel Hostel needs one (1) Hotel Managing Supervisor who can start immediately.
Wage: $24.00 per hour for 30 – 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time
Applicant with part-time availability to cover full shift are encouraged to apply.

JOB REQUIREMENT:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
Experience: Minimum of 7 months in hotel or similar industry.
Ability to Supervise:
Staff in various areas of responsibility
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Overtime required; Standing for extended periods; Attention to detail

Job Duties:
Requisition supplies for the operation of the motel; Co-ordinate work schedules of contract workers; Ensure smooth operation and computer systems, security systems, coffee machines, ice machines, etc; Review work of contractors for housekeeping, landscaping, and yard maintenance; Assist clients/guests with special needs; Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies; Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports; In absence or illness of contract workers, perform same duties as the contract workers.
