Demco Enterprises Ltd Dba Dead Frog brewery a well-established Langley BC, Based Brewery is hiring a brewer supervisor for full-time and permanent position. In this role, your will be responsible for the following duties:
Primary responsibilities include:
- Performs brewing and beer transfer scheduling.
- Formulates the beer recipes
- Manage and performs the brewing production on a 30-hectolitre brew house system.
- Performs quality control procedures
- Operates and manages the brewery production including scheduling, keeping check on supplies/ingredients and ordering
- Performs record keeping and documentation of brewing information (brew sheets, yeast log sheets, gravity log sheets, etc.)
- Trains brewing production staff with industry and work safe standards
- Trains new brewer about basic brewing through educational product sensory analysis and practical hands-on brewery experience.
- Scheduling and coordinating with production packaging staff to carry out final beer product packaging.
- Supervising the brewery production warehouse consisting of materials and supplies.
- Run the kombucha brewing project at the facility
For this role our ideal candidate should have experience of minimum 1 year. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in brewery. Minimum completion of high school is required. Must be able to communicate in English.
Minimum work of 30 hours to 40 hours per week will be given. Overtime will be paid if any after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. Upon joining us you will receive a highly competitive wage of $ 25.00 per hour.
