Bombay Banquet Hall at 201-2, 7475, 135 Street in Surrey, BC is hiring line cooks for full-time and permanent position. Job duties would be to set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies, to prepare food for service, stock inventory appropriately, to follow and execute chef direction for preparing/cooking individual dishes, to comply with nutrition and sanitation/hygiene regulations, clean up station and store leftover food, to manage and train staff, prepare plate presentation procedures, determine size of food portions, to track and report food waste issues. No specific education is required. Minimum experience of 1 year or more as line cook is required. Knowledge of various ingredients and cooking methods, equipment and procedures would be an asset.
