Shan Construction Services Ltd is looking for one (1) Construction Engineering Technician who can start immediately. Applicant must be willing to work in various locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Wage:
$30.00 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment:
Permanent; Full-Time
Applicant with part-time availability to cover full shift are encouraged to apply.

Minimum completion of diploma program in civil engineering technology or equivalent work experience.

Job Duties:
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately determine structural dimensions and material requirements for construction projects.
- Assist in the development and modification of engineering specifications and detailed construction drawings.
- Participate in field surveys and site inspections to assess project conditions and gather necessary technical data.
- Prepare precise construction specifications, cost estimates, and material takeoffs to ensure project accuracy.
- Create and modify engineering designs and drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating timelines and milestones for construction activities.
- Supervise and perform field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials to ensure quality control and adherence to engineering standards.
