Mr. Shawarma Cafe Ltd. at Unit-104, 1305 Frances St, Vancouver, BC is hiring wholesale butchers. The position is full time and permanent. Duties would be:
- To cut, trim, clean and prepare the different meats in standard pieces for wholesale using knives, saws or other sharp devices,
- Grind and slice the meat as per commercial, institutional requirement,
- Remove bones from meat,
- Marinate the meat with traditional spices for wholesale,
- Remove Viscera or other inedible parts from meat,
- Wash poultry for further processing and packaging etc.
- Ensure Safe and hygienic storage of meat products.
- Maintain freshness of different meats.
Requirements:
Minimum education required is completion of secondary school.
Minimum experience of 7 months or more as a meat cutter is required, and on job training will be provided.
Language required: English
Terms:
Salary : $ 23.00/hour.
Hours of Work: minimum work of 30 hrs to 40 hrs per week will be given along with two days off per week.
Must be available on evenings and weekends.
