Duties and Responsibilities
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts as per manual
- Set up and operate computer controlled machines and other tools
- Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly of diesel engines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and directives from Manager
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
