Position Title: Greaser, Heavy Truck (NOC 7535)

Type of Employment & Duration: Full-Time Permanent – (1 position open)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage and Hours: $19.50/hour, 40 hours per week with flexible hours

Primary Objective: Perform and assist in changing semi-truck oil, adding transmission and hydraulic fluids. Also lubricating and greasing semi-trucks in a dedicated lubrication bay. Ensure that all services are finished in a timely manner.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Add hydraulic and transmission fluids on semi-trucks, replace oil filters and fuel filters on semi-trucks, change engine oil and lubricate/grease running gears and/or moving parts of semi-trucks, assist other employees with other duties as directed/needed, general cleaning of lubrication bay at end of shift, safe recycling and disposal of fluids and filters according to set environmental standards.

Previous Experience & Skills Requirements:
Lubricating/greasing semi-trucks, changing/replacing oil, fuel & air filters on semi-trucks, changing engine oil and lubricating running gears/moving parts on semi-trucks, adding/topping off hydraulic and transmission fluids on semi-trucks, ability to lift up to 23 kg (50) lbs, ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, ability to follow specifications in regards to filter types and oil, hydraulic and transmission fluids, ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule, previous semi-truck experience or familiarity of 1 to 2 years is preferred.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Work Environment: Inside/outside shop, wet/damp, noisy, cold/hot
