Regime Solutions is a trusted consulting & Staffing firm providing services for various industry partners. We need two (2) Information Systems Quality Assurance Analyst who can start immediately. We are located in Edmonton, Alberta.
Wage: $48.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week.
Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full Time

Completion of a college program in computer science with minimum of 7 months of work experience.

Job Duties:
- Analyse systems requirements, develop, and implement information systems development plans, policies, and procedures.
- Analysis of business requirements & designs for testability.
- To help our clients’ in developing and maintaining document requirements.
- Provide advise on a wide range of information systems issues.
- Conduct business and technical studies to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems.
- Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
- Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions.
- Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breach.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures through out the software development life cycle.
- Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems.
- Execution of various testing types such as regression and system testing.
- Understand application workflow and write test strategies, test plans, and test cases throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure test plans thoroughly cover all requirements and use cases.
- Manage defect tracking and proactively identify risks to management, monitor and report results.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects, conduct lessons learned meetings and propose improvements in processes and methodologies.
- Report QA status as appropriate to keep project stakeholder informed on deliverables and timelines.
Successful applicant must possess the following:
- Programming skills in Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net Web Forms/MVC/Web API, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and jQuery.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Visual Basics for Application, Oracle Entity Framework, SQL and PL/SQL
- Proficient in Software Development Lifecycle Tools, specifically GIT.
- Knowledge of mobile application would be considered an asset.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Access.
- Highly organized and extremely self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
