Shan Trucking is the industry leader in providing freight transportation throughout North America. We need four (4) Truck Driver. As long-haul truck driver, you will be required to operate a tractor-trailer and haul commercial goods over long distances. You will be required to depart for destinations thousands of kilometers away from home. You will be required to cross-interprovincial boundaries and travel over international routes across North America. You will be required to be away home for several days per week or weeks at a time.
Wage:
$26.00 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
All wages or conditions stated or not, shall be considered in accordance with al Provincial and Federal standards.

Job Duties:
Perform preventive maintenance; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Pay and receive payment for goods; Perform Brake Adjustment; Load and unload goods; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport good and materials; Tarping and ensuring safety of cargo; Drive as part of two-person team or convoy; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Security and Safety:
Driver’s validity check; Driving record check (abstract); Drug test; Criminal record check
Transportation / Travel Information
