We need two (2) Truck Drivers. You should be prepared to stay away from home at various locations in a camp or employer-provided accommodation for several days a week or few weeks
Wage: $26.50 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
As per Commercial Vehicle Drivers’ Hours of Service Regulation, Overtime will be paid after 60 hrs/week if the truck is driven out of the Province. Overtime will be paid after 10 hrs/day or 50 hrs/week if the truck is operated provincially in Alberta

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary high school graduation certificate
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A); Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Experience: Experience an Asset
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Job Duties:
Load and unload goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Perform brake adjustments, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Perform preventive maintenance, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Security and Safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test, Criminal record check
Work Location Information: Various locations, Accommodation provided in Campers, camps or motels
