THE OPPORTUNITY:

A fast-paced freight broker has an immediate requirement for a Logistics Coordinator.  This is a female owned, fast-paced, and fun environment that requires a team player with strong communication skills. In this key role, your main responsibility will be load planning, rate spot quotes, track and trace and keeping the customer updated on the status of their freight.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Arrange and track shipments start to finish including making appts.
• Negotiate rates with carriers on a per shipment basis.
• Track and trace shipments.
• Provide quotes to customer.
• Keep customers apprised of the status of their freight, including resolving issues.
• Dispatch loads to selected carriers across North America.
• Takes ownership of the role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of transportation experience – LTL, FTL
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Great problem-solving skills, able to prioritize and think on your feet.
• Freight brokerage experience is a must.
• CCLP (CITT) designation is an asset.

COMPENSATION:

$55,000-60,000 range plus excellent benefits, after hours pay and advancement opportunities
