The job description is as following:
Job responsibilities:
• Prepare full meals or individual dishes on the restaurant menu
• Create decorative food displays for special events such as banquets
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Suggest or create new recipes which could be incorporated in the restaurant menu
• May requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Plan menus
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
Wage and Conditions:
• Permanent full-time position
• $18.00/hour
• 35-44 hours/week
• Flexible work hours
• Part timers encouraged to apply
Language:
• English
Education and Experience:
• Secondary high school graduation certificate
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience
