Wage:
$23.00 per hour for 35 – 44 hours per week

Secondary School graduation certificate
Experience:
2 – 3 years’ experience in a food service industry
Job Duties:
- Plan menus and direct kitchen operations.
- Interact with clients in menu preparation for special events
- Recruit and hire staff
- Demonstrate to the cooks and kitchen staff the preparation and cooking techniques
- Instruct kitchen staff in garnishing and presentation of food
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
- Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs
- Ensure food meets quality standards
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
