Rasoi The Indian Kitchen specializes in East Indian cuisine. Our cuisine is inspired by the elegance, culture, and grandeur of a distant time. We need two (2) cooks who can start as soon as possible. Preference will be given to cooks who have experience in East Indian Cuisine, but this is not a job requirement. Training will be provided to cooks who want to learn East Indian cooking.
Wage:
$15.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment:

Experience:
2 – 3 years in food industry
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook East Indian cuisine for buffet and individual dishes
- Prepare and cook special meals for patrons as required (e.g. spicy, mild, nut free, etc)
- Maintain inventory and records of food (perishable and non-perishable), supplies and equipment
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
