Landscape and Horticulture Technicians and Specialists Specific Skills: Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes, Mixing Fertilizer, Cleaning crop
Specific Skills:
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market
• Assist other farm workers in tasks such as picking, sorting, packaging grapes
• Cut surrounding overgrown trees to extend plantation
• Keep record of sprays for the good quality
• Monitor for the adequate water supply for the newly plantations daily
• Put cartoons on each plant roots by hand for protection from sprays
Working and Physical Abilities:
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to hand, crouch, stand and kneel for long extended periods
