Mundi SDR development dba Hyatt Place Prince George at 585 Dominion St, in Prince George, BC is hiring a Line cooks for a full-time and permanent position.
Duties:
- To set up kitchen stations.
- To cook food for service (making sauces, gravies etc.),
- To follow and execute chef direction for preparing individual dishes and meals.
- To comply with nutrition and sanitation/hygiene regulations.
- Clean up station and store left over food.
- To manage and train staff.
- Prepare plate presentation procedures and determine size of food portions.
- To track and report food waste issues.
Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: No specific education is required.
Experience: Experience of minimum 7 months as line cook is required. Knowledge of various ingredients and cooking methods, equipment and procedures would be an asset.
Job details
Salary: $20.00/hr for 30 to 40 hours per week
Overtime: After 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
