1835558 Alberta Ltd needs four (4) Long Haul Truck Drivers. As a Truck driver, you will be required to operate a tractor-trailer and haul commercial goods over long distances. You will be required to depart for destinations thousands of kilometers away from home. You will be required to cross-interprovincial boundaries and travel over international routes across North America. You will be required to be away home for several days per week or weeks at a time.
Wage:
$26.50 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
All wages or conditions stated or not, shall be considered in accordance with al Provincial and Federal standards.

Job Duties:
Load and unload goods; Perform preventive maintenance, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials; Pay and receive payments for goods; Perform brake adjustments; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and cold storage and other equipment; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; Drive as part of a two-person team of convoy; Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
