AZ Diesel Truck Repair Ltd. located at 9761 129 St, Surrey, BC is currently looking to hire 1 full-time permanent position for a mechanic helper.
Job Duties:
- To assist in routine maintenance and repairing of trucks & trailers such as changing oil, checking batteries, lubricating equipment, and machinery on heavy duty/diesel trucks.
- Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas.
- Hold stakes and, perform miscellaneous laboring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas after the installation.
- Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order, completing preventative maintenance on the associated equipment.
Job Requirements:
- No formal education is required.
- No experience is required. On job training will be provided.
- Previous experience as mechanic helper will be an asset.
- Language required is English.
Terms:
- Salary: $ 23.00/hr
- Hours of work: minimum 30 hrs to 40 hrs per week along with 2 days off per week.
- Overtime will be paid if any.
