Job desc:
Apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and/or other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings

Wash, scrape, sand, torch and/or smooth interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing, lacquering or applying other materials

Operate compressors, striping machines, sandblasters, spray equipment and other small power equipment

Mix and thin paint to obtain desired color and texture

Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces

Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting

Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives

Mix and match colors of paints, stain, or varnish with oil and thinning and drying additives in order to obtain desired colors and consistencies

Assemble and erect scaffolding and swing stages

Job Requirements:
3-5 years Experience is required.
