We need one (1) Retail Store Manager who can start immediately. We are in Nisku, Alberta.
Wage:
$41.25 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week

2 – 3 retail service industry with some on Supervisory level
Job Duties:
- Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of the retail store by planning, organizing, and managing daily functions, including sales, staffing, and customer service.
- Monitor and manage inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels through FIFO (First In, First Out) and Just-in-Time ordering to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies focused to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
- Enforce and adhere to store-specific Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) policies to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
- Conduct and maintain records of weekly, monthly, and annual inspections to ensure store compliance with operational standards.
- Develop and implement budget strategies to optimize store resources and maximize profitability.
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors to ensure inventory aligns with customer demand, enhancing sales potential.
- Monitor competitor pricing and trends, providing regular updates to management to maintain competitive positioning in the market.
- Engage with local businesses and the community to develop and execute effective marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and sales.
- Handle customer complaints and liaise with the corporate customer service department to ensure prompt resolution of any issues, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
