Shan Trucking have over 10 years of experience as Service based Transportation Company in Western Canada. We need six (6) Truck Drivers. As a Truck Driver you will be required to operate a tractor-trailer combination to haul goods on short haul and may be required to do long haul. We are contractors for City of Edmonton and haul Municipal Solid waste. You should be prepared to work with environment with strong odours at Municipal waste sites and clean truck everyday before parking it.
Wage:
$27.00 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
As per Commercial Vehicle Drivers’ Hours of Service Regulation, Overtime will be paid after 60 hrs/week if truck driven out of Province.
Overtime will be paid after 10 hrs/day or 50 hrs/week if the truck is operated provincially in Alberta

Job Duties:
Load and unload goods; Perform preventive maintenance; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport good and materials, Perform brake adjustments; Pay and receive payment for goods; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; May be required to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy; Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
