We need to (2) Truck Drivers. As a truck driver, you will be required to operate a tractor-trailer and haul commercial goods over long distances. You will be required to depart for destinations thousands of kilometres away from home. You will be required to cross-interprovincial boundaries and travel over international routes across North America. You will be required to be away home for several days per week or weeks at a time.
Wage: $27.00 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
As per Commercial Vehicle Drivers’ Hours of Service Regulation, Overtime will be paid after 60 hrs/week if truck driven out of Province.
Overtime will be paid after 10 hrs/day or 50 hrs/week if the truck is operated provincially in Alberta

Job Duties: Load and unload goods; Perform preventive maintenance; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials; Pay and receive payment for good; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; Drive as part of two-person team or convoy; Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50lbs)
Credentials: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement; Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
