Total Transload is a one stop shop facility. From product handling and storage, to transloading and delivery, we offer simple solutions for all our customers logistical needs. Our integrated trucking company has allowed us to provide clients with seamless and consistent services. We need two (6) Truck Drivers who can start immediately. You will be required to do both long haul and short haul.
Wage: $28.00 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
In Accordance with all Provincial and Federal Standards. Overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 50 hours per week when the truck is operated within Alberta.
Overtime will be paid after 60 hours per week when the truck is crosses interprovincial boundaries

Languages: English
Education: Secondary school graduation preferred
Experience: Experience an asset, we have specialized loads and training will be provided for handling the loads.
Security and Safety: Driver’s validity license check; Driving record check (abstract)
Transportation / Travel Information: Willing to travel for extended periods; Drive manual transmission vehicle; Valid driver’s license; Willing to travel overnight

Communications System Experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
Documentation Knowledge: Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip); Driver logbook; Bill of Lading; Accident or incident reports; Trans-border documentation; Maintenance and repair reports
Job Duties: Load and unload goods; Perform preventive maintenance; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials; Pay and receive payment for good; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; Drive as part of two-person team or convoy; Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50lbs)
Credentials: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement; Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
