Shan Trucking have over 10 years of experience as Service based Transportation Company in Western Canada. We need four (4) Truck Drivers. As a Truck Driver you will be required to operate a tractor-trailer combination to haul gravel and general freight on short haul and may be required to do long haul. We are in Edmonton, Alberta.
Wage:
$29.00 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
In accordance with al Provincial and Federal standards, overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 50 hours per week when the truck is operated within Alberta.
Overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 60 hours per week when the truck crosses interprovincial boundaries

Job Duties:
Load and unload goods; Perform preventive maintenance; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport good and materials, Perform brake adjustments; Pay and receive payment for goods; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; May be required to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy; Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
