Wood Frame Carpenter
Salary: $30.00 /hour

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Work setting: Construction, Various locations, Residential
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Tasks:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements, Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems, Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, Supervise other workers
Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle, Willing to travel
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Handling heavy loads, Overtime required, Physically demanding
